Stone Dragon Tile Arts is the concept and creation of Robert L. Ford Jr and Silvia G. Rainey, both natives to the North Central Florida area. The focus of our company is to provide high quality natural stone and tile installations, to include custom designs specified to the clients wishes. From assistance with tile selections to providing quality installation that will last.
We also offer custom mosaic tile art to add a personalized touch to bathrooms, floors or walls. These items are made to order and do take additional time.

We are able to provide design and artistic suggestions to cliental, which includes, if needed, a one-on-one shopping experience to ensure satisfaction of the design and installation methods used.
We go to great lengths to ensure the happiness of clients by focusing on your wishes, design details and offer a lifetime warranty on our work.
We follow TCNA standards, which specify guidelines for tile installation and waterproofing. While we try to give the client what they want, if it goes against the TCNA standards then we will respectfully decline a job or restructure certain elements of the job.

ROBERT L FORD JR
He believes in being a strait shooter with integrity and honor.
Robert was born and raised in the Gainesville area. After finishing high school he attended several jobs in the construction industry. Eventually after framing and roofing jobs he stumbled on a career in natural stone and tile installation.
He has over a decade of experience in tile installation and traveled across the nation providing tile installation in several states to include Colorado and Florida.
After moving back to his hometown, he developed Stone Dragon Tile Arts LLC in 2019 to offer quality tile installation and artistic work to the greater Gainesville, Florida area.

Silvia joined Stone Dragon Tile Arts after over a decade in retail management. She retired from the Alachua County Sheriff's Office in 2006 and moved to Arizona. After over a decade away from Florida she moved back to the Gainesville area where she met her partner, Robert L. Ford Jr.
While Robert focuses on the artistic and installation side of the business, Silvia's focus is on the management of the company and is usually the first contact with clients and offers consultations for selections.
But you will also see her on job sites working alongside her partner.
